It is the vision of Somon Air to become the preferred airline for citizens of Tajikistan and international travelers in the region due to our safe, reliable and affordable air transportation services. Our fleet will be expanded rapidly, but continually under international maintenance control. Initially international wet lease partners will maintain maintenance of their aircraft, but our own maintenance organization will be expanded to facilitate the operations.

The management consists of local experts and international consultants, who are supporting the start-up process, applying international best practice to the standard operation procedures. Fully planned implementation of such procedures include Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Management Organization Exposition (CAMMOE), which reflects that the maintenance organization is to be built to a European EASA standard.

Our mission is to offer international standard air transportation services. To realize this target, we are committed to:

• Applying international level maintenance standards, including the EASA standard;
• Developing a broad route network to satisfy demand;
• Accessing global ticket distribution systems in order to facilitate improved onwards flight coordination; and
• Provide improved on ground service to our passengers, including faster baggage handling services.
