Dear passengers!

From 08 October 2020 Somon Air resumes regular flights on the Dushanbe-Istanbul-Dushanbe route. Flights will be operated every Thursday. The departure time from Dushanbe is 06:00 local time, and from Istanbul at 10:45 local time.

Attention to passengers for the Dushanbe-Istanbul service:
According to requirements, all passengers must wear face masks and disposable gloves at the airport and on board. Passengers with high body temperature or symptoms of illness will not to be permitted aboard. Before boarding, all passengers must complete the Passenger Locator Form, which must be submitted at Istanbul Airport upon arrival. Passengers must hold a negative result of COVID-19 (PCR) test issued not earlier than 96 hours prior to departure. The certificate of a negative result must be authentic, not altered, and carried out by a medical facility accredited by the state of departure and certified by the seal of the medical institution. Persons with COVID-19 are not permitted to travel.

Please note that spreading of infectious diseases, including COVID-19 virus, is a criminal offence.

Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, all passengers are required to undergo a COVID-19 symptom test. If symptoms of COVID-19 are detected, passengers will receive the appropriate necessary treatment at their own expenses or at the expense of the health insurance company. For this reason, having health insurance is highly recommended.

The baggage allowance is 27 kg including hand luggage (in economy class) and 40 kg including hand luggage (in business class).
The hand luggage is limited to a laptop, a lady’s handbag, and a small child bag. All other items must be checked in.

Passengers must hold a certificate of negative COVID-19 result, obtained by testing by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, carried out within 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival in Tajikistan. Children under 3 years are excepted from this requirement.

The baggage allowance is 20 kg including hand luggage (in economy class) and 30 kg including hand luggage (in business class).
Hand luggage is limited to a laptop, a lady’s handbag, and a small child bag. All other items must be checked in.
Foreigners who wish to travel to Dushanbe must have a permit issued by a Tajik Authority before entering Tajikistan, as well as a visa (if required) and a certificate showing the negative result of COVID-19 test, obtained via testing by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, carried out within 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival in Tajikistan.

Holders of Turkish passports do not need permission from the authorising body of the Republic of Tajikistan to enter the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Dear Passengers for the Dushanbe - Dubai service (updated information!)

W’d like to remind you that since August 2020 flights from / to Dushanbe and Dubai have been back on our flight schedule. Flights operate once a week, from Dushanbe to Dubai on Saturdays, from Dubai to Dushanbe on Sundays. Departure time from Dushanbe at 20:00 local time, from Dubai at 00:10 local time.

Citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan holding the required documents to enter the United Arab Emirates (such as tourist / resident / working visa, valid medical insurance, health declaration form to be found on filled in: https://www.gcaa.gov.ae/en/ePublication/Pages/OperationalDirectives.aspx?CertID=(DIR). If you have a residential permit / work visa, you must show the approval by the Permit Electronic Programme and your Emirates ID Card. Additionally, a negative result of COVID-19 (PCR) test issued not earlier than 96 hours prior to departure must be presented. The certificate of a negative result must be authentic and not altered, all fields must be filled in on a computer, not by hand, and must be conducted by a medical facility accredited by Pure Health: https://screening.purehealth.ae/application or by a laboratory accredited by the state of departure and must be issued in English or must contain a certified translation in English or Arabic. Persons with COVID-19 are not allowed to fly.

Important! If upon arrival in Dubai, it is revealed that a certificate of negative COVID-19 is invalid, or a passenger with COVID-19 has made a flight, the passenger will be returned to the destination airport. Note that all costs arising in this situation (including the cost of the return flight) have to be covered by the passenger. In this regard, we kindly ask passengers to take this issue seriously and take the PCR test only in accredited laboratories.

Holders of foreign passports must present their required documents to enter to or transit in the UAE, including a medical insurance and a health declaration form. Holders of foreign passports traveling as transit passengers via Dubai can depart only to their home countries and must have a ticket to their final destinations. All passengers must show a negative result of COVID-19 (PCR) test.

Foreigners who wish to travel to Dushanbe must have a permit issued by a Tajik Authority before entering Tajikistan, as well as a visa (if required) and a certificate showing the negative result of COVID-19 test.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, compatriots returning to their homeland must have a certificate of negative result of COVID-19, obtained by testing by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, made no earlier than 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival in Tajikistan. Children under 3 years old are excepted from providing the mentioned certificate. After the arrival in the Republic of Tajikistan with a certificate of negative result of COVID-19, citizens of the country are exempted from mandatory testing and quarantine.
