Somon Air starts operating the direct charter flights from Dushanbe to Sharm-el-Sheikh (Egypt). The customer of this flight and Somon Air partner is the tour operator “Kompass”. Transavia Express represents Kompass in Tajikistan.
“We are grateful to our partners for supporting us with the launch of this new route, - Brigitte Wareham, the Senior In-Flight Services Manager of Somon Air stated on the presentation of the flight on November, 29. - During the summer season, we successfully operated our charter flight from Dushanbe to Antalya and back. And as Antalya, Sharm-el-Sheikh, a beautiful tourist hot-spot on the Red Sea, has been chosen as a destination for the very first time in the aviation history of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
The inauguration flight is scheduled on Saturday, 29th of December. During the winter season, the flight will be conducted once every 10 days. All the flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 and -900 aircraft.
Currently Somon Air operates Boeing 737-300, 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft from Tajikistan to destinations in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Germany.
