As a result of the international emergency declared by the World Health Organization (WHO), due to the global outbreak of coronavirus, as well as according to the order of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to protect the health of the people of the Republic of Tajikistan from the aforementioned virus, Somon Air has cancelled all flights on the route Dushanbe-Urumqi-Dushanbe for February 2020. The airline apologizes to all passengers for the inconvenience caused by security measures.
Funds spent on the purchase of air tickets will be returned to passengers of canceled flights. In addition, passengers can exchange their tickets at a later date. Passengers can obtain additional information about canceled flights by calling the airline’s call center at 44 640 40 49 and 44 640 40 50.
We remind you that as of January 24 of 2020, Somon Air has temporarily suspended flights from Dushanbe to Urumqi and back in connection with the celebration of the New Year in China. The first flight on the Dushanbe-Urumqi route after the New Year celebration was scheduled for February 4. This flight will not take place.
To date, Somon Air has successfully operated flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The airline fleet consists of Boeing 737-300, -800 and -900 aircraft and Airbus H125 helicopter.
