SOMON AIR SUMMARIZES NINE-MONTH RESULTS OF 2025
On October 21, 2025, the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting with the national airlines to review operational results for the first nine months of the year.
During the meeting, Somon Air's management presented the airline’s key operational performance indicators for the reporting period.
Over the first nine months of 2025, the airline carried approximately 826,000 passengers, representing an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, 2,477 flights have been operated, with 89% on international routes and 11% on domestic routes.
Currently, Somon Air operates regular flights to 25 destinations. The airline continues to expand its route network actively and, in 2026, plans to receive new Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft, enabling the launch of new routes to London (United Kingdom), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Beijing and Guangzhou (China), and Seoul (South Korea).
