Today, the management of Somon Air met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Mubarak bin Abdulrahman Al-Nasr.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of civil aviation, with particular focus on the resumption of Somon Air flights between the capitals of Tajikistan and Qatar.

It was noted that the resumption of flights between Dushanbe and Doha is one of the airline’s priority areas, and that the development of air connectivity will contribute to further strengthening the friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.

As part of further cooperation, meetings are planned with representatives of Qatar’s aviation sector, including Qatar Airways, to discuss potential areas of collaboration.

The parties expressed their mutual interest in continuing constructive dialogue and strengthening cooperation in the fields of aviation and tourism.
