Somon Air Participates in the Meeting of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Summarizing the Results of 2025
On January 8, 2026, Somon Air took part in a meeting of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, during which the results of the country’s civil aviation sector for 2025 were summarized and key priorities for the industry’s future development were outlined.
During the press conference, the airline’s management presented the key performance indicators of Somon Air for the reporting period. By the end of 2025, Somon Air carried 1,091,921 passengers, representing an 8.6% increase compared to 2024. Over the same period, the airline operated 3,744 flights, including 348 domestic flights, which is 13% more than in the previous year.
As part of the event, Somon Air also announced its plans for 2026. The airline’s management reported its intention to expand the route network and increase flight frequencies, including through the addition of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to its fleet, with delivery expected in the summer of the current year.
In the coming year, Somon Air will continue the systematic development of its operational activities, focusing on expanding its route network, improving service standards, and ensuring a high level of flight safety, while pursuing sustainable growth and long-term development.
