Somon Air LLC Provides Charitable Assistance to Children with Disabilities

Somon Air LLC has implemented a charitable initiative within the framework of its corporate social responsibility and in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated February 10, 2014 (No. AP-159).

On March 24, 2026, a group of 30 individuals, including children with disabilities and their accompanying persons, was sent to Khujand to undergo a course of medical treatment. Somon Air arranged air transportation on the Dushanbe–Khujand–Dushanbe route. This ensured timely access to necessary medical services for the children.

Among the children are those with conditions such as poliomyelitis, paralysis, and Down syndrome, requiring ongoing medical care.

Such assistance is provided on an annual basis and helps ensure access to essential medical care for this category of children. The initiative is aimed at supporting socially vulnerable groups and reflects the principles of humanity, social responsibility, and care for the younger generation.

The children are expected to return to Dushanbe on April 3, 2026, upon completion of their course of treatment. 

Initiatives like this create real opportunities for children to receive necessary treatment and improve access to medical care for those requiring ongoing support.
